Europe Tour April 2006 Part 2- Germany.

April 10, 2006 Monday. Homburg Germany. Sharon feels so ill we look for the hospital, but later she feels better after I spend ages locating the casualty department on a rambling university hospital campus. So we go to the rathaus tourist info office to find a campervan dealer where I might buy the replacement taps needed for the kitchen sink. They are very helpful and suggest one in Saaarbricken about 40km away, so we drive there and get further directions from the Police. We are unable to find a suitable unit, after I pull it all apart again to try one they have that looks like it might do. They say ones like I need are not made in Germany. After all this it is time to find a place to stop and we see a sign to the Sportsplatz where we find a good quiet paved parking area.

Both of us are still suffering miserably from flu, I'm a little better, poor Sharon is still in the worst stages of it.

April 11, 2006 Tuesday. Saarbrucken Germany. Both still alive, hope of survival rising. We returned to Homburg to visit the Wal-Mart, but did most of our shopping at Aldi because prices are better there. Refueled at Jet station near Walmart where there is water at a hose tap, and they agreed to let us fill our tank when we bought diesel fuel for €1.119.

Then continued east for a couple of hours before finding a forest walk parking area along a quiet road to stop for the night. Such parking places in forests are common in Germany and usually have walking and or cycling tracks radiating from them, often picnic tables and sometimes bins. Here there was a small clean stream of water that one could use for washing.

April 12, 2006 Wednesday, Rodalben Germany. Weather is still cold and wet. Coming east in Europe this early in the season was a mistake, previously we have headed south from Calais about the same time of year and found the weather much better in the south of France. This area would be better left for another month to warm up a little, so now we know! Shopping at Aldi for the first time in Germany. The beer is still €1.60 for 6 x 500ml plastic bottles of Karlskrone which is now available in 4 vanities. LIDL also now have Graffen Walder beer in similar plastic bottles for about the same. Both beers are brewed in accordance with the German beer purity laws of 1513.

Spent the rest of the day in a fruitless search for the reismobile wasser haan, or kitchen tap, sent to the wrong place by the tourist office in Neustadt and then to another place that didn't have one. I'm beginning to think we may not find one in Germany.

April 13, 2006 Thursday. Speyer Germany. We spent the night in another forest parking area of the type that are very common in Germany. Almost every town has an adjacent patch of forest where there are such places where people often park to take their dogs for walks. Facilities are minimal, usually nothing more than a picnic table and perhaps a rubbish bin, and shade if you should need it later in summer. Shopping at Aldi and LIDL which are located together. Unable to find LPG in the town but we were eventually directed to a gas merchant that was closed by the time we got there. LPG is not so widely available in Germany as in France and Benelux. We noticed several campervans parked by the Rein river and parked for the night.

One of the places we intend to visit on this tour is the Auschwitz concentration camp in south west Poland. In my study of real history which began in 1997 with the reading of an old pre WW1 history book concerning European history over the preceding two hundred years, and which was complemented by my tour in 2000 of some of the WW1 battlefields and war cemeteries in France, I increasingly was drawn to the conclusion that the "conventional" history of the twentieth century, in particular that surrounding the causes of the two world wars, simply did not make sense. In fact I progressively formed the opinion that there was a deliberately fabricated mythology surrounding these matters, and the more intensely I researched almost any aspect of their history, the more dramatically apparent this became.

Until this time I had, like most westerners, and also like most Germans, accepted the conventional history of the causes of WW1 and WW2 almost unquestioningly, except for one matter. The simplistic cause of WW1 being attributed to the assassination of Arch Duke Ferdinand, which while it may have been a final triggering event, never throughout my adult life, satisfied me that it was any more than a final triggering incident, and that far more important and complex underlying reasons must have existed for all of the leading nations of the world, including Australia, to have become involved in such a gigantically unprecedented conflict. This lingering question, the old history book, written in 1911, before the mists of modern mass media propaganda began to cloud the reality of history, and seeing the almost unimaginable scale of the conflict through touring the battlefields and still immaculately maintained graveyards, prompted my interest and researches.

I do not research the mechanics of war, the details of the strategy and technicality, for these matters are to me of little importance, they are matters for the military enthusiast and of concern to the soldiers whose function is to do or die, and not to think about what forces have brought them to their fate. What concerned me was the real causes of war, why, who benefits, who pays? The more I probed the more hidden history was revealed, and much of it pointed to the western propaganda and tales of a heroic fight of the goodies (The Allies) against the baddies (the "evil" Hun) being a complete fairy tale.

Study of WW1 logically led to study of WW2 and similar questions and conflicts with the conventional history as widely disseminated by western propaganda and as almost universally believed in the UK, America, Canada, Western Europe etc, arose. Study of WW2 inevitably led to the matter of the "holocaust" for probably no other issue of the twentieth century has been more intensively memorialized in the popular mind through the mass media. Here too as with almost every aspect of the causes of WW1 and WW2, when I began to scratch the surface vast anomalies arose between the conventional story and what was held to be the reality by another sector of opinion that is often referred to as "revisionist".

Before even starting on the matter of the holocaust, I had reached the conclusion that the conventional history of the twentieth century, particularly in relation to the causes of both world wars, was essentially a propaganda fabrication. Nothing was as it had seemed.

Increasingly, the study of more modern political developments had led me to the conclusion that "democracy" was also a phantom concept, a charade for the masses, who were under the illusion of having some say in world affairs, but who were in reality totally manipulated by media propaganda. In essence that "democracy" was nothing but the tool of a hidden global authoritarianism. So complete being the illusion that in the minds of the masses, their political reality was the complete reverse of how things really are. That is democracy is no more than a ritual which projects the illusion of power, and demonstrates the illusion to the audience through its elaborate performance of ritual elections periodically. In fact real power lies in hands totally unseen, and the elected politicians are inevitably nothing more than puppets dancing to the tune of a hidden global elite ruling oligarchy.

The holocaust legend is a central pillar of the justifications for WW2, which as we all "know", because we have been told so ad infinitum, was a conflict of good against evil. It retrospectively proves the justification for the war, a kind of "look I told you so", proof that the Germans, or at least the Nazis, were intrinsically evil, and had to be fought at any price. But quite apart from the holocaust, I had already reached the conclusion that it simply was not so. Almost everything, apart from the physical, and technical aspects, that we had been taught about WW1 and WW2 was propaganda, distortions, lies, half truths, glaring omissions of material facts and fabricated nonsense.

So I was intrigued when I came across this quote from one of the persons involved in supporting the holocaust story, Processor van Pelt, who in a film made on the subject is quoted as follows.

“If the Holocaust revisionists would be shown to be right we would
lose our sense about the Second World War, we would lose our sense
about what democracy was. The Second World War was a moral war; it
was a war between good and evil. And so if we take the core of this war,
which is in fact Auschwitz, out of the picture, then everything else becomes
unintelligible to us. We collectively end up in a madhouse.”

Now I don't agree that the only alternative to accepting the conventional view of WW2 is to collectively end up in the mad house, as I had already reached the conclusion that the conventional view was a deliberate propaganda fabrication, holocaust or no holocaust, and if anything felt myself to have been greatly enlightened by the gradually unfolding knowledge, and certainly not mad house material. However I agree with van Pelt on the importance of the holocaust pillar to the continued popular mass belief of the propaganda lies as to the justification for the war. The holocaust is probably by far the single most publicized matter of WW2, and even sixty years later the holocaust propaganda rolls on full steam ahead. But it has also never been more under attack from the dreaded revisionists, and since the widespread use of the Internet over the past ten years in particular, revisionist views and literature are reaching a widening audience. Hence the passing of laws in Europe making denial, or even questioning any aspect of the holocaust a crime, and the now systematic imprisonment of revisionist historians.

Professor van Pelt makes his comment from the point of view of one who either fully believes, perhaps genuinely, or wishes others to continue to believe, not only the conventional view of the holocaust, but the entire conventional propaganda "history" of WW2. There are cogent reasons why very powerful influences even now wish to see the mythology of the whole WW1 & WW2 episodes perpetuated, for they are not merely dead history, but are fundamental to maintaining the myth of "democracy" which is so much bandied about in political commentary in the third millennium. If the mythology of the history as to the real causes of the world wars collapses, the holocaust being, as van Pelt points out, a central pillar of belief, then the mythology of so called "democracy" itself will crumble and a broader cross section of the public would begin to understand the real power structures of the world, with which they would probably be very displeased.

In these notes I am not offering any evidence for the conclusions that I state I have reached. The case for such a change of belief is made admirably well in literally thousands of books, Internet journals, historical archives and by common sense observation of the world that I have lived in over the past sixty odd years. The conventional western propaganda view of twentieth century history simply makes no sense in the light of both historical and contemporary reality, whereas I feel the views which I, and many others, have reached, so called revisionist views, fit almost perfectly with both.

If you are capable of reaching a similar change of view, you will do so through your own widespread reading, observations of contemporary politics, analysis and discussion, and unless you are able to undertake these tasks, for yourself, you will not be able to effect the required change of mindset. It is not for me to convince you of the truth, that is your task to seek it for yourself. I merely put before you the possibility that the truth of our recent history is vastly different from the limited propaganda you have been fed which has formed the views that you probably hold, and invite you to apply your mind to its revelation.

Here then is a partial list of some of the matters which I have found to be vastly different from the conventional "common knowledge" of twentieth century history.

Germany was not the blameworthy party in WW1, and it was primarily about continued British Imperial world dominance.

Germany was unjustly blamed for WW1, and treated viciously under the terms of the treaty of Versailles, which set conditions that virtually guaranteed another major war would ensue, as it did in WW2.

International bankers, mostly Jewish, were heavily involved in the financing of WW1 and in setting the terms of the treaty of Versailles, which by their injustices set the scene for a planned second global conflict that was to become WW2.

The WW1 war cemeteries in France and elsewhere are still maintained as a propaganda tool to keep alive the myth that WW1 was about freedom and democracy, thus continuing to mask the real reasons for the conflict.

Communism is not a peoples revolutionary movement, but was financed and organized by the same Jewish financial elite groups responsible for the establishment of the US Federal Reserve Bank in 1913, the outbreak of WW1, and for the injustices of Versailles after WW1.

Wherever real history has been distorted or totally obscured by propaganda and political lies almost inevitably one finds a large Zionist or global Jewish financial elite involvement.

The real start of WW2 was in 1933 when International Jewry declared war on Germany, and agitated for first Brain and later America to join in the war which was to become WW2.

Hitler was neither mad nor bad, and had no ambitions for world domination beyond the redressing of the territorial losses imposed by Versailles. He had no desire for war with Britain or America.

Brain declared war on Germany, not the other way round.

Hitler was a popularly elected leader who has been mercilessly vilified by propaganda which totally distorts his real objectives.

The allies were responsible for "war crimes" on a much greater scale than the Germans.

The Nuremberg trails were nothing but political show trials of highly dubious legal integrity.

The allies introduced mass aerial bombing of civilian targets, not the Germans, who undertook similar reprisals, such as the London blitz, only in reluctant retaliation.

The "Holocaust" is a political propaganda hoax.

Zionism, which has been declared to be a racist ideology by the United Nations, lies at the core of most of the worlds major problems of the twentieth century.

The American use of Atomic weapons against undefended Japanese civilian targets was a cold war propaganda demonstration of power, it had no military justification whatsoever, and is the greatest war crime of all time.

Most of the current middle east problems can be traced back to the treaty of Versailles and the creation of puppet states to attempt to impose ongoing British and US imperialism on the region and its oil supplies, and the creation of the state of Israel.

There is no real "democracy" in the world, and never has been. Since the first cries of liberty equality and fraternity in the French revolution, democracy has been nothing more than a sham and a mechanism for the imposition of elite authoritarian rule, imposed through elected puppets, by means of manipulation of so called popular opinion, through mass media propaganda and fomenting conflicts and wars, to impose international discipline on any nations who rebel.

Mass migration since WW2 from "third world" countries is organized, by the ruling global elite, against the wishes of the majority of citizens of receptor countries, to break down racial and national differences to facilitate the long range objective of an homogeneous docile populace amenable to one world government. Multiculturalism is a propaganda tool to facilitate acceptance of this policy by the masses.

Zionist domination of American politics is responsible for the disastrous US foreign policies that have made the USA the worlds most hated nation on a level only equaled by Israel.

April 14, 2006 Friday. Speyer Germany. Parked beside the river with several other campervans. Cycled into Speyer, site of a "technical" Museum featuring numerous old aircraft trains and boats etc. Numerous barges ply the Rhine.

April 15, 2006 Saturday. Speyer Germany. After another night beside the Rhine we moved on in search of LPG and found a helpful man at a servo who filled our water tank for us with his hose, and directed us to an LPG station on a nearby autobahn. Then we headed further east via Schwabisch Hall stopping at a rest area along the road to Crailsheim. Facilities are not as good in Germany as in France for campervans but you can always find somewhere to stop for free, if you look. Still the flu lingers on.

We filled with bio-diesel for €0.95 a liter cheaper than conventional diesel by about a6 cents a liter. It is available mainly at independent and smaller service stations, some of the major chains don't seem to sell it, and availability is usually well signed.

April 16, 2006 Sunday. Crailsheim Germany. Wet and windy weather continues, but not so cold as least week.

April 17, 2006 Monday. Nurnberg Germany. Recovering more from the flu we felt up to cycling into the old town, not much left of it after WW2, just isolated old buildings and some of the old town walls. Generally little of interest to the international tourist. The waypoints of several motor home parking spots I obtained from the Internet were completely wrong, non existent, and the place we stayed was a third rate makeshift attempt at providing a camper parking area with no dumpsite or water.

So far German towns have few and generally poor, or non existent, facilities for motorhomes compared to France. As the city was not of great interest and the only parking spot we found not very attractive we moved on toward Bayreuth and stopped in a rest area overnight.

April 18, 2006 Tuesday. Forth Ekental Germany. This road from Nurnberg to Bayreuth is too busy for a good SONP as traffic noise is a little disturbing. It is a red road on the Michelin maps and in Germany such roads carry some traffic almost all night. We bought sausages at a roadside stall at the rest area, and sampled some homemade fruit and Elderflower wine from a very friendly German vendor. All the German people seem very friendly and helpful, everywhere we have been and anywhere we have asked for some minor assistance at a tourist office or service station, we both really like them as a people.

We went on to an autobahn to a service station looking for water, which we obtained easily, but there was no dumpsite for waste water and toilet waste. So far we have only come across two dumpsites in Germany and we decided to dump in a forest off the road. People commonly use such places as toilets as there are no public toilets except for some autobahn rest areas, so dumping toilet waste is no different.

For a country with so many campervans Germany is seriously lacking in facilities for them. We stopped in Bayreuth for supplies and drove around the town but again found it to be not of great interest, with mainly featureless modern buildings and drab blocks of "communist" flats, so we decided to drive on toward the Czech Republic, reaching the border about 2.30PM.
